Summer '98: This is what is usually referred to as a mini
reunion, and it's happening in late July / early August. We call it
mini because it falls somewhere between one of the "every four
year" big reunions (see the Summer '99
reunion info below). This year's reunion is targetting Maynard's offspring.
Here are the highlights.
- When - It will span approximately the last 3-to-4 days of July
to the first 3-to-4 days of August. I'm guessing that the majority of
folks will be there on the Saturday, Sunday, and Monday(August 1,2,3).???
- Where - The Thralls have a nice cabin in the Sierras. I just
received some good directions from Aunt Shirley, and Yes, "it is off
Route 4 near Arnold/Dorrington, northwest of Yosemite National Park".

Hey. Those directions only get you within a mile or two of the cabin...
Once you're there, look for the Ottawa Drive turnoff on the South side
of Highway 4. It'll be about 3/4-mile North of the Camp Connell General
Store. From Ottawa Drive, you'll soon (1000 feet) want to turn right on
Shoshone Drive. The cabin will be on the left after about 600 feet, right
where Shoshone starts to turn to the right.
Okay, as of 6/11/98, word from Doug Thralls is the cabin has no phone. However,
there will also be a neighboring cabin available which does have a phone. No
number yet. Still waiting on actual street number.
- How - Of course, Cycles, Cycles, Cycles, campers, cars, bikes, ...
