- Mount Palomar - Yep, still a bunch of snow on the ground. We didn't stay long up there. Headed down the East side, back to the 76 and...
- The Hideout - A few lovely ladies helped us with our refreshments. From there, we took the Mesa Grande run to Santa Ysabel. A quick swapping of bikes at...
- Dudley's Bakery - (Man those Buells are a trip. Kind of a high riding position Sportster feel. Mega torgue action. Wow!) We all fueled up in Romona, then it was the last stretch back home.
- Al Lighton, riding the '99 Buell S3 Thunderbolt

Mine has about 110HP, 92 ft-lbs of torque at the crank, about 10% less on both at the rear wheel. The stock ones are about 101HP, 85ft-lbs of torque." - Al
- Tom Reiner, riding the 1-day old Buell, (can you say North County Buell Club?)
"Tom's is a '00 S3T (touring package), bone stock."
- Aref Nohrudi, riding the '97 Vulcan
- Bill Webb, riding the '99(?) Kawasaki Concourse
